I worked at The Edmonton Journal from 2005 through 2012, first as a crime reporter, then as a political reporter and finally as the paper’s environment reporter. I joined National Observer in 2017, first as a Montreal-based editor and reporter, and then moved to Ottawa in 2018. Today I am National Observer’s chief marketing officer, responsible for digital audience growth and engagement.
Here you’ll find a selection of my stories.
From unpacking “ethical oil” and the proposed Enbridge Northern Gateway pipeline project, to profiling police recruits and community living in Canada’s Northwest Territories, these are some of my long-form journalism projects.
